Purpose:
As a Financial Analyst at Edible Brands, you’ll play a critical role in supporting financial planning and analysis across multiple brands within the Edible Brands portfolio, including new ventures. As part of a small, agile team, you’ll contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts, helping to inform strategic decision-making and business growth.
Location: This position will work onsite out of our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA Monday – Thursday, with work-from-home flexibility on Fridays.
What That Looks Like Day to Day:
Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planningAnalyze financial performance, including variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights to senior leadershipPartner with cross-functional teams to support financial planning efforts and evaluate business opportunitiesPrepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to improve visibility into business performanceSupport ad hoc financial analysis and special projects to address evolving business needsIdentify opportunities to improve financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and data integrityAssist in month-end and quarter-end financial review processes by analyzing trends and variancesHelp evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives, marketing programs, and cost-saving effortsCollaborate with Accounting to reconcile financial data and ensure consistency between FP&A and actual resultsResearch industry trends and benchmark company performance against competitors to provide valuable market insightsExperience Requirements:
2+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance required. Candidates with the appropriate experience may be considered for a Senior Financial Analyst roleBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelingSQL experience highly preferred, but not requiredExperience with financial planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., Great Plains and/or NetSuite) is a plusEssential Competencies:
