This position will manage, analyze, and organize financial data in order to efficiently and effectively provide key metrics, information, and reporting to support internal and external clients, as well as senior leadership.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain dynamic Excel model(s) designed to identify business/market trends and improve decision making within Operations
+ Responsible for compiling monthly and quarterly reporting related to asset performance, including variance analysis around portfolio and asset specific performance
+ Primary support for FP&A budget processes, including becoming a subject matter expert with budget application (Vena)
+ Support Operations and other business units through analyzing various financial metrics and other key operational related data
+ Assist as needed with FP&A investor specific tasks (i.e. quarterly reporting updates, updating inputs for valuation process, etc.)
+ Significant Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis, as applicable
Competencies & Skills
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required, as well as general knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
+ High aptitude for financial analysis, especially financial modeling skills
+ Candidate must be a strong, proactive communicator and be comfortable dealing with customers at all levels (i.e. high exposure to senior leadership)
+ Strong work ethic, inquisitive, and resourceful, with the ability to reprioritize
+ Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; assuring accurate and timely delivery of materials to team members
+ Strong focus on quantitative analysis and modeling matched with practical business application
+ Ability to demonstrate Bell Core Values
+ Strong knowledge of commercial real estate operations and related impacts to financial reporting
+ Familiarity with Yardi a plus
Education and Background:
+ BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
+ 3-5 years relevant experience with demonstrated understanding of analyzing financial data
+ Results oriented team player. Emphasis on communication skills (both oral and written), ability to handle multiple assignments, strong work ethic and time management skills
