HP Profile Financial Analyst 4-Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading and providing expertise to project teams, participating in cross-functional initiatives, and guiding process improvements and policy establishment. The role collaborates with business leaders to influence strategic decision-making and conducts complex financial analysis to achieve objectives effectively. The role also represents the business unit, and the organization as needed, builds productive relationships, and mentors lower-level employees.
Key Responsibilities
Consolidate financial information across P&L, balance sheets, and operational metrics to provide comprehensive insights into factory performance.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with accuracy and adherence to deadlines.Identify variances and trends, offering insights and recommendations to senior management.Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and participates in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.Collaborates with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.Oversee FP&A spending, ensuring alignment with budgets and company objectives.Performs complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or business, utilizing strong business understanding to achieve objectives effectively.Drive improvements in financial reporting and analysis processes.Automate and optimize data consolidation and reporting tools for better accuracy and efficiency.Provide insights to leadership on financial risks, opportunities, and strategies.Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 5+ years of work experience in financial analyst, FP&A or related roles preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
