Job Description:

At Regions, the Financial Analyst gathers, organizes, analyzes, and communicates relevant financial information in support of line of business partners.
 

Primary Responsibilities

Analyzes, consolidates, interprets, and communicates financial dataPrepares detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of managementMonitors business unit financial performance against plans, forecasts, and budgetsConsolidates a wide range of operating and financial projections for the development of both short-term and long-term business plansAssists with junior analyst training and developmentOffers advice and guidance to junior analysts on occasion, assisting in the development of necessary skills and promote continuous improvement initiativesWorks independently and receives minimal guidance

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field and one (1) year of experience with management financial reportingOr Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field and three (3) years of experience with management financial reporting

Preferences

Experience within a financial services industry

Additional Job Description

Regions Capital Markets provides an array of products to help Regions relationship managers compete in today’s rapidly evolving financial environment, including interest rate risk management, foreign exchange, Commercial Real Estate, Loan Syndications, and Broker Dealer activity.

Additional Responsibilities

Provide accounting guidance and process/risk/control advisory on new Capital Markets initiativesResearch and respond to technical accounting inquiries from our lines of business partners

Experience in/supporting Capital MarketsFamiliarity with broker deal reportingNASD 7,6,24 LicenseCertified Public Accountant

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week.  The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.  Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.  

 

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$99,320.00 USD
