Scope and Responsibilities:

Monitor, review, and report on trends and patterns of revenue and expenses within Acrisure’s Partners.  This FP&A position will collaborate with FP&A leadership, operational leaders and budget owners

Effectively communicate the trends and patterns of expenses to various levels of management within FP&A and operational leadership

Support the budgeting/planning, re-forecasting, and outlook processes across various stakeholders

Prepare detailed analysis and complementary presentations to communicate actual results as compared to budget and re-forecast(s)

Build relationships and collaborate with business partners to create or enhance process guidelines

Key Responsibilities

Forecast Enterprise Spend – Partner with corporate leaders to forecast areas of corporate spend that extend across the enterprise

Report and Analyze Enterprise Spend – Develop monthly reporting of enterprise spend to track fluctuations to budget and prior year and monitor longer term trends

Modeling Support – Support business leaders in decision making processes on investing in enterprise tools and resources; including longer term spend projections, centralizing of existing spend and other aspects of actioning initiatives

Financial Forecasting – Own financial forecasting for corporate departments, enterprise balance sheet and cash flow statement, including monthly reforecasting, annual budget and other ad hoc short/long term forecasts

Reporting – Own financial reporting process for corporate functional spend, enterprise balance sheet and cash flow statement, providing detailed analysis and commentary on business performance

Business Partner – Serve as business partner for Corporate budget owners, supporting financial decision making and providing financial insights

Process Development – Manage and develop process, in collaboration with other key stakeholders, to report, forecast and manage balance sheet and cash flow statements

Qualifications

Experience developing comprehensive financial models

Prior roles supporting functional and/or indirect expenses

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) preferred

Prior experience with insurance strongly preferred

Years of prior experience may influence level of analyst role

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Effective written and verbal skills, used to perform detailed analysis and prepare presentations

Highly responsible and accountable; takes ownership of projects from start to finish

Strong interpersonal skills with business, financial, and operational acumen

Perform detailed analysis while understanding the implications to the big picture

A desire and passion to continuously improve finance deliverables

Build and maintain trust and work with confidential data and projects with discretion and professionalism

Positive attitude, desire to learn, self-motivated and effective team player

Technical Skills:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Demonstrated strong proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools, e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Teams 

Technical agility and desired knowledge of financial reporting systems and tools, e.g. Workday ERP

Ability to work between multiple best-in-class cloud-based solutions

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership
