We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join Applied Materials as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving financial oversight of key business partners, supporting strategic and operational initiatives, and providing decision support for key investments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
· **Financial Governance:** Take ownership of financial governance for key Corporate Functions, ensuring adherence to Applied Materials' policies and procedures.
· **Portfolio / Investment Management:** Lead investment management processes, aligning resources with strategic priorities and budgetary constraints.
· **Strategic Planning and Forecasting:** Develop and maintain comprehensive strategic plans and forecasts, spanning short-term and long-term horizons.
· **Management Reporting:** Prepare and deliver management reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to Finance and Operational Leadership.
· **Key Message Communication:** Effectively communicate financial performance and insights to leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
· **Accounting Proficiency:** Demonstrate strong accounting skills, including attention to detail and ability to perform thorough reconciliations when necessary.
· **Simplification / Process-improvement Focus:** Drive simplification initiatives within financial processes and reporting, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

**Qualifications:**
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
· Proven track record of effectively communicating financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends and insights within financial data.
· Experience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
· Commitment to continuous improvement and driving simplification initiatives.

**U.S. Salary Range:**
$100,000.00 - $137,500.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
