Scope and Responsibilities:

Monitor, review, and report on trends and patterns of revenue and expenses within Acrisure’s Partners.  This FP&A position will collaborate with FP&A leadership, operational leaders and budget owners

Effectively communicate the trends and patterns of expenses to various levels of management within FP&A and operational leadership

Support the budgeting/planning, re-forecasting, and outlook processes across various stakeholders

Prepare detailed analysis and complementary presentations to communicate actual results as compared to budget and re-forecast(s)

Build relationships and collaborate with business partners to create or enhance process guidelines

Key Responsibilities

Reporting and Forecasting – Develop and maintain reporting outputs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with GAAP and non-GAAP financial reporting.  Own financial commentary for enterprise reporting, including performance to budget and prior year and insights on future performance. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting packets.

Process – Manage and enhance process for financial reporting to ensure efficient and accurate reporting

Business Partner – Support requests from business leadership for ad hoc views and refinement and financial reporting bifurcations

Business Partnership – Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure consistent narrative and alignment across reporting outputs

KPI Development & Reporting – Partner cross functionally to develop and maintain database of KPIs, ensuring accuracy, repeatability and auditability. Own reporting and forecasting of financial and non-financial KPIs that are both external and internal facing in support of reporting processes

Narrative – Own narrative on financial implications of KPI performance in alignment with operational and finance team members

Qualifications

Prior experience with Workday and Office Connect preferred

Prior experience with enterprise reporting and GAAP preferred

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) preferred

Prior experience with insurance strongly preferred

Years of prior experience may influence level of analyst role

Effective written and verbal skills, used to perform detailed analysis and prepare presentations

Build and maintain trust and work with confidential data and projects with discretion and professionalism

Technical Skills:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Demonstrated strong proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools, e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Teams 

Technical agility and desired knowledge of financial reporting systems and tools, e.g. Workday ERP

Ability to work between multiple best-in-class cloud-based solutions
