Financial Analyst - Healthcare
Description Role: The resource would be responsible for running analyses day-to-day as an embedded member of our team. We would expect the resource to work directly with the team in performing initial analyses under the guidance and structure of the team’s workplan and then be expected to iterate on those analyses pending internal and client feedback. Analyses will generally involve trending of historical actuals, comparison of trends and significant ratios (as directed by the the client's team) and visualization of the trending analyses performed. This arrangement works best if the resource is fully devoted to the project as specific analyses and priorities of client needs are constantly shifting due to the emergent nature of the providers’ needs. TOP SKILLS NEEDED: 1. Required 1. Understanding of financial statements and some financial analysis experience (preference given to individuals with healthcare organization finance experience) 2. Understanding of basic/core financial concepts like cash vs accrual accounting 3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel 4. Experience compiling basic data visualizations (with direction) including MS Excel graphs and PPT presentations 2. Preferred 1. More advanced data visualization skills, such as Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau 2. More advanced Alteryx and/or Excel skills (macros, simple automation, etc.) 3.
