Job Title: Junior Financial Analyst (Junior Trade Compliance Analyst) Department: Operations, Finance Reports To: Senior Manager, Customs and Trade Compliance Summary: + We are searching for a motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join our Trade Compliance team. + The Junior Financial Analyst will be responsible for helping prepare monthly reports, conduct analysis, and support with customs duties and import-export data. + When required support Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, country of origin assessment, valuation, and other customs issues. + This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong academic background in finance or supply chain and a genuine interest in international trade to gain practical experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. + Manage various import and export reporting in SAP, Excel, and Power BI. + Design, develop, and maintain compelling and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide a clear and concise view of key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends. + Support with product classification and country of origin determination + Maintain Master Data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and compliance of key data elements such as country of origin and classification. + Maintain recordkeeping of import/export transactions, utilizing internal systems and databases to manage compliance data effectively. + Audit Entries and calculate Key Performance Indicators. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or supply chain, or International Business, or related field + 2 years of experience with import and/or export, or customs brokerage activities or financial analysis role or in global supply chain. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and functions) + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Enthusiasm to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment that values collaboration efforts. + Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail. + Take Initiatives to improve processes and implement solutions independently. + Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Bonus Points For: + SAP Experience is a plus. + Experience with import/export compliance software is a plus. + Experience with Customs regulations and procedures is a definite advantage.
