Financial Analyst I
**Job Description** The selected candidate will be responsible for filling the role of financial analyst, supporting various programs and miscellaneous task order awards. Will prepare weekly and monthly financial reports that are delivered to the customer; pull weekly GL reports from COGNOS and reconcile that data, prepare and submit adjusting entries as required when errors are discovered; enter budget and task information in local financial system, route them to the customer for approval; enter employees in the workforce and generate work authorization memos; prepare project setup forms to the project setup team can enter new charge numbers; prepare and submit estimates for the customer; track and process financial contract deliverables. Perform other related duties as assigned. The work schedule is 2-3 days in the office in California, MD and other days remote. This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** CostPoint experience Familiarity with various financial reports such as Contract Financial Summaries/Project Status Reports, General Ledger reports, and Estimates to Complete Familiarity with financial/accounting software/databases Experience with government contracts/finance **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $55295 - $94001 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
