Position Overview:
As a Financial Analyst at Ricoh, you will collaborate closely with management teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role plays a critical part in the strategic planning and execution of operational and financial improvements. Your contributions will focus on identifying opportunities to improve business performance, enhance profitability through revenue growth, and contain costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and validate financial and operational data for analysis. Provide financial analysis and insights to both Field and Headquarters finance leadership teams. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and budgets. Participate in projects aimed at enhancing business and financial performance across the Area/Region. Support the development and implementation of Ricoh's strategic initiatives and operating plans. Identify opportunities to improve accounting/finance processes and data quality. Safeguard sensitive, proprietary information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Interact professionally and effectively with diverse internal and external contacts. Perform additional financial analysis and tasks as assigned to support organizational goals.Qualifications:
A 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Mathematics, or equivalent experience. At least 3 years of relevant work experience, with solid financial planning and analysis background. Analytical and operational experience is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, etc.). Experience with budgeting and planning systems/software is a plus. Ability to interpret complex material, analyze data, and effectively convey information, including technical data.Working Conditions:
The position is primarily office-based, with a typical office environment (adequate lighting, ventilation, and comfortable temperature/noise levels). Occasional overnight travel may be required. The role requires regular contact with internal departments and team members in various regions. The work volume and deadlines may impose regular time pressures. Minimal physical effort is required; however, occasional walking, standing, bending, and lifting of items up to 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, files, books) may be necessary. Moderate dexterity for basic tasks such as using a keyboard and calculator is required.
