PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare month-end financial reporting and accounting tasks, including preparation of job cost allocations, reconciliations, and financial reports. Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Develop and maintain documentation for business and system processes for assigned responsibilities. Set standards of excellence in quality, productivity, and responsiveness for the group, with a focus on automation of processes and reports. Maintain and optimize the general ledger chart of accounts. Monitor and compare costs on the general ledger to annual company Selling, General and Administrative expense budget, produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, & variance reporting. Support in the preparation of the business plan Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management. Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization. Support other departments to reach organizational goals and deadlines. Produce ad-hoc analysis & complete special projects as assigned and assist timely with anything requested. Be the main point of contact and support for the specific business unit assigned Follow Sarbanes-Oxley Act audit guidelinesEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A four (4) year degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting/Finance, and Project Management 2 + years of audit (internal or external), controls, accounting, compliance Preferred Experience working in the solar renewable energy field.Preferred Skills/Abilities:
2+ Years of professional accounting experience, public or industry. Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures. Experience in manufacturing and inventory management accounting Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel including lookup & sumif formulas Preferred experience on jobs that involve Master Service Agreements work orders Attention to detail and ability to meet deliverable deadlines Strong interpersonal skills (oral and written) to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization Strong organizational and time management skills A dedication to continual process improvementCompany Overview:
