A Financial Analyst II is requested because the FP&A team needs an individual with at least 3 years of experience, strong excel skills, and experience with Workday Adaptive financial system. The Finance department is transitioning to a new financial system, Workday Adaptive. Our team’s resources will be focused on participating in the development and testing of the new system to ensure we get a good product. We will need support to run daily responsibilities. The ideal individual will need to be able to jump into the role with minimum guidance as we have begun development of the system.
Responsibilities Assist in preparation of financial studies and surveys to collect, summarize and analyze the financial results of operational activities. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.Monitor financial status by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends and making recommendations.Develop, implement and maintain reports to support the organization accounting function as required. Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data. Assist on special projects as assigned by division management or general accounting.Analyze and support consolidation process for YLA subsidiaries.Collaborate in monthly analysis of results.Review monthly financial reports prepared by accounting department and identify reasons for variances. Support groups/divisions in improving quality of financial data.Collect, consolidate and organize documents and data required for financial reports.Prepare monthly financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information.Trend analysis of corporate overhead expenses and investigate fluctuations.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, compliance or other related field. Strong Excel skills are required. Working knowledge of operational ERP systems required.Strong Power Point or related presentation software is required.Experience in financial analysis and accounting for logistics operations preferred. Experience with Microsoft D365 financial application & Workday Adaptive reporting module is highly desirable. Experience with Power BI is highly desirable.
