How you will make an impact:Analytical Instruments Group (AIG) provides a broad offering of instruments, consumables, software and services that are used for a range of applications in the laboratory, on the production line and in the field. These products and services are used by customers in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, government, environmental and other research, and industrial markets, as well as the clinical laboratory.
The DABS Analyst will maintain interactive, dynamic dashboards to deliver actionable insights and recommendations on the financial performance of the business. This role will actively support the overall strategy, reporting, and BI solutioning processes as we drive foundational change to reporting platforms and systems solutions. The Data Analyst will work directly with business partners, participate in special projects as needed, and continuously strive to improve processes across an organization with substantial volume and system complexities.
What you will do:Run daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly data quality monitoring processes.Perform validations between multiple systems to ensure a consistent “Single Point of Truth”.Monitor system health and work with partners to resolve ETL and DB issues.Support technical maintenance and optimization of centralized reporting processes.Actively respond to and work service tickets submitted by customers.Support overall data strategy of centralization, consistency, automation, and visualization. Consider data as a key strategic business asset and seek to improve and optimize wherever possible.Office location: Budapest, HU/ Vilnius, LT
How you will get here:EducationBachelor’s degree in Computing, Data Sciences, Accounting or Finance with experience in financial reporting systems.ExperienceMinimum 1-2 years of experience in data management, process automation, and/or system consolidations.Experience using reporting and visualization tools, Power BI (DAX), and SQL.Experience in providing data reporting tools and a passion for efficient, effective data solutions.Understanding of or exposure to automation software such as Knime.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesExcellent organizational skills; effective verbal & written communication abilities.Organized, diligent, self-starter with ability to maintain accuracy of information and meet deadlines.Work independently in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and understand that there may be extra hours during the financial calendar.Coding skills such as SQL, Python or VBA considered beneficial.Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work based on business needs.Self-motivated, flexible, and a focus on getting the job done.Self-starter with the ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly.Travel Requirements5-10% international travel may be required.
