Compensation includes a base salary of $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Cox Automotive is seeking a dynamic Financial Analyst II to join the Manheim Finance team.  This role will be responsible for financial modeling and support of business cases supporting Manheim's Digital, Assurance, and Logistics businesses.  This is a highly collaborative role requiring partnership with cross functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage strong business acumen to provide strategic insights and support.  The Financial Analyst II will be able to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem solving.  This role supports a highly visible team that works together in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and the ideal candidate must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop financial models and business cases to support functional business leaders with key business decisions

Analyze financial performance against established budget, prior year, and competitors

Have an ability to analyze large amounts of raw data and then repackage, simplify, and determine key takeaways from the results

Assist with the development of management presentations for an executive-level audience resulting from financial analysis and business case analysis

Evaluate business performance by developing reporting tools to ensure the company achieves desired results from key business decisions and initiatives.

Assist with the planning, coordination and development of annual P&L budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range plans

Complete special projects and prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS degree in related discipline with 2+ years of business experience and a strong focus in financial analysis and case modeling. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 1+ year of experience. A non-degreed candidate will have 6+ years of experience.

Outstanding analytical skills and a high degree of intellectual curiosity.

Strong communication skills.  Ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner and explain financials to various audiences.

Advanced Excel skills (including financial functions, formulas, shortcuts, pivot tables, lookups, charting/graphing) and command of PowerPoint (design, formatting, charting/graphing).

Ability to operate and work across functional groups in a matrixed organization.

Advanced MS PowerPoint skills preferred, with an emphasis on effective, professional presentation design/formatting.

Experience with OneStream, Tableau and other data management platforms is a strong plus.
