Job Description

FP&A Analyst performs complex financial analysis and creates accurate, transparent and timely reports and analytical tools to support leadership in the decision making process.

Collects, analyzes and interprets complex financial and operating data for site managers, division, and/or corporate functions.Provides sophisticated decision support to business leadership through the creation and enhancement of decision tools, models, presentations, and dashboards.Prepares reports and analyses in support of monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and ongoing financial activities.Leads the forecasting and budgeting processes.Collaborates with country, divisional, operational management and cross-functional teams to identify problems and develop solutions.Makes recommendations on system and improvements in execution to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent knowledge3 years + experiences in FP&A or Accounting would be plusStrong command in English and JapaneseHands-on experience in ERP (SAP/Oracle) and analytical tools (Hyperion)

Demonstrated project leadership and consultancy skills with ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clientsSolid understanding of accounting/financial principles, standard processes, and regulations/legal requirementsAbility to apply advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise to analysisGood business insight with ability to understand sophisticated organizational structures and environmentsExcellent analytical and quantitative skillsAdvanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of dataAbility to work with ambiguity and complexityDemonstrates executive presence and good presentation skillsAbility to influence at all levels of the organizationAbility to balance and deliver against challenging demand
