Job Description Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing reporting and analysis on operating expenses and headcount against forecasts and budgets. This is a highly visible role which will directly support the Finance team and senior executives. The role will work to develop budgets and forecasts, and improve processes, reporting, and reviews with senior finance and business leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and distribute consistent monthly financial reports and review with senior business/finance leaders that provide context on historical and forecasted business performance.Streamline and improve financial reporting and identify/implement process improvements that enhance the accuracy and timeliness of our overall financial reporting processSupport the finance cadence/rhythm of the business for monthly reporting, rolling forecasts and the annual budgeting / planning cycle in alignment with Corporate FP&A timelinesCollaborate and partner with key department leads, HR & staffing partners, and cross-company finance and operational teams.Analyze results to understand performance against plan/forecast. Identify trends that indicate problems to address or opportunities to investigate. Highlight business issues and risks and drive changes to improve operations. Anticipate questions and advise on corrective actions based on financial insight.Present analysis to management & executive team for use by the CEO, CFO and Board of DirectorsProvide ad hoc financial analysis as needed

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of Finance and/or Accounting experience.Experience managing operating expenses and budgetsHigh level of Excel knowledge with the ability to use pivot tables and advanced formulae coupled with great visuals that tell the business story.Ability to manage to tight deadlines and prioritize workloads with a high degree of accuracy and minimal supervision in a fast pace environment.Ability to interpret data and provide relevant conclusions and recommendations.Strong verbal & written communication skills, comfortable presenting to and interacting with C-level executives.Self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in a team environmentStrong collaboration across teams and functions.Comfortable working with ambiguity and unstructured, disparate dataExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailIntellectual curiosity & strategic mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

Enterprise software industry or management consulting experienceMaster’s degree in Finance or BusinessExperience with Oracle ERP, Essbase, Smart View, OBIEE, APEX

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

Travel Requirements: <5% Minimal, infrequent travel
