Financial Analyst III
**Work Schedule** Standard (Mon-Fri) **Environmental Conditions** Office **Job Description** **Key Responsibilities:** + Establish and improve performance metrics to assist with business evaluation and decision-making. Ensure the accurate compilation, timely reporting, and analysis of data. + Analyze and report on commercial programs, customer, and division activity (revenue, profitability, savings/value delivered) on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc basis. + Support accounting, forecasting and alignment of Corporate Incentive process while driving critical improvements. + Support monthly expense and headcount management. Partner with GBS teams to ensure results are accurate and troubleshoot issues as they arise. + Conduct customer centric reporting and analysis + Support revenue forecasting and actively participate in monthly and quarterly business reporting activities + Lead various Operations finance projects + Perform special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required. **Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or other relevant area At least 3 years of direct experience in financial analysis and reporting preferably within a large, matrixed organization **Hiring Criteria:** + Proven ability to make logical assumptions, incorporate external and internal information, and effectively benchmark results against appropriate baselines + Possess advanced analytical capabilities with proven financial modeling skills using MS Excel, PowerPoint and Oracle + Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) + Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge strong professional relationships with peers and senior management + Demonstrated continuous improvement with a successful track record of optimizing processes + Ability to juggle multiple projects and implement them successfully + Self-motivated with a bias for action. + Commitment to continued learning, show career progression and seek opportunities to stretch capabilities. + Possess high level of integrity and ethics + Committed to collaboration and working well in a team + Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus Thermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
