Your responsibilities will include: + Assist with the **month-end close process** , preparing journal entries and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records in line with Chewy’s policies + **Collaborate cross-functionally** with team members and leaders to track financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights + Build and maintain **financial models** for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning + Partner with teams to support **Sarbanes-Oxley controls testing** and contribute to operational audits + Assist Controllership with advisory roles on critical initiatives + Prepare ad-hoc analyses and reports for senior leadership to drive key decisions + Participate in strategic and annual planning processes to align business goals with financial outcomes **What You’ll Need** To thrive in this cross-functional role, you’ll need: + Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s program in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or an Master’s/MBA program, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026 + Foundational knowledge in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis + Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail and a natural curiosity for solving problems + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and senior leaders + Advanced Excel skills **Bonus** + Familiarity with tools like SQL, Hyperion SmartView, Tableau, or Oracle ERP + Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation Join us at Chewy to gain valuable experience, develop your skills, and take the first step toward a fulfilling career in Finance & Accounting! \#LI-DNI **Chewy is committed to equal opportunity.
