Financial Analyst
Location: Hybrid NAS Patuxent River, MD.
Bowhead is actively recruiting for a Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis support to include utilizing ERP, DAI, CSPT, CERBERUS and PBIS. Additionally, the analyst will support execution (Navy ERP and DAI), as well as general financial support to the BFM Team and multiple IPTs within PMA-263 Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program Office. Anticipated support will be 75% financial analysis and 25% financial execution.
Responsibilities Monitor CSPT and CERBERUS for adherence to PMA, PEO, NAVAIR and Marine Corps Systems Command business rules, and coordinate corrective actions and/or updates as requiredTrack and assist in the answering of financial drills and RFIs from PEO, SYSCOMs, Resource Sponsors and other StakeholdersUtilize PBIS to assist in the answering RFIs and track financial controlsAssist in the preparation of various briefs, to include Congressional Briefs, Program Reviews, Military Intelligence Program (MIP) briefsPrepare monthly MIP reports Maintain, consolidate, and organize, databases of budgetary status information based on financial data provided through N-ERP, DAI, CSPT, CERBERUS and PBIS. Support drills with CSPT and CERBERUS data and analysis as requiredProvide support for cost savings initiatives in Decision Lens tool Perform budget execution Status of Funds (SOF) reports including tracking status of obligations and expenditures in detail by year, appropriation, and program for financial reconciliation for all funds; update/develop spreadsheets for financial status briefs and presentations. Assists IPT personnel with their CSPT issues, updates, questions. Provide adhoc TEAMS training as requested.Attends all Financial Review meetings for both IPT and Program Level as required.Attends all IPT weekly and monthly tag up/meetings to gain information about program updates Create/track funding documents and Other Customer Funds (OCF) packages in Naval Enterprises Resources Program (N-ERP) and Defense Agencies Initiatives (DAI), such as ZFD PRs, ZSPS PID/PRs and MIPRs. Provide support in creating and amending Work Assignment Agreements (WAA), Network Activities (NWAs) and Receiving Billing Elements (RBEs).Research/reconcile prior and current year reimbursable/direct cite Unliquidated Obligations (ULO)for the Dormant Account Review Quarterly (DARQ) data call for both United States Marine Corps (USMC) and United States Navy (USN) using various USN, USMC and DoD electronic data systems such as NERP, DAI, CERBERUS, CSPT and Electronic Data Access System (EDA) Qualifications BS/BA* with 3 to 9 years relevant NAVAIR financial experience Must have prior financial experience functioning either as a financial analyst or as a program analyst within NAVAIR. Navy-ERP or DAI experience preferred. CSPT or CERBERUS experience preferredPBIS experience preferredIntermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft TEAMS preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with all in the workforce is essential.
Physical Demands: Office Environment - - The environmental conditions consist of computer stations and desks with adequate and adjustable lighting. Chairs are designed to fit the various individuals and the tasks being performed. Ergonomic evaluations are completed as needed, to provide up to date modifications to all work stations.
