Financial Analyst - North America FP&A

As a Finance Analyst North America, you will be a key member of the regional finance team. You will have significant input into financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, commercial business partnering, working capital initiatives, and other ad-hoc projects.

Establish and embed the concept of FP&A as a productive business partnering function to enable better decision-making across departments. Collaborate closely with the North America commercial team, as well as Corporate FP&A and Accounting.

The successful candidate will have strong technical accounting skills. The ability to assimilate and manipulate large amounts of data is essential, as are strong IT and communication skills. This role reports directly to the senior finance manager – North America FP&A

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance key financial models and performance reports to support executive management decision making.Collaborate on full P&L monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to support monthly forecasting and annual budget processes.Upload weekly and monthly financials to reporting system (One Stream) and reconcile to ensure accuracy of corporate deliverables.Improve and maintain sales commission plans, modelling and analysis for the regional businessBuild performance analytics and reports to fulfil on demand requests and support the commercial and corporate teamsProvide weekly and monthly reports related to order booking, shipments, backlog, margin, and operating expensesDevelop and improve business analytics through utilizing BI and creating specific reports and providing regional, global, and functional leaders with key operating statistics and variance analysis for budgets, forecasts, and key ratios.Assist in the continuous improvement, development, modification, and implementation of financial systems as necessary. This includes learning and using VES tools.Provide a variance to plan analysis on the operating expenses and related countermeasuresDevelop and enhance data automation in the day-to-day financial reporting and dashboard to drive efficiency and effectiveness

Skills & Experience

Excellent Excel spread sheet and data analysis skillsStrong financial analysis skillsStrong interpersonal skills and an excellent communicator - ability to develop relationships and influence at senior levels across the businessDemonstrable technical finance abilityPrevious experience of working with senior non-finance managers an advantage but not essentialManufacturing experience an advantage but not essentialQualified/Part Qualified accountant (CIMA, CPA or ACCA)Experience of working with FP&A tools (One Stream, Power BI etc.) an advantage but not essential

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
