Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst specializing in Planning and Budgeting to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our organization's financial planning process, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processesAnalyze financial data and prepare accurate reports for senior managementCollaborate with various departments to gather financial information and create comprehensive budgetsConduct variance analysis between actual results and budgets, providing explanations for discrepanciesAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsIdentify trends and opportunities for cost savingsSupport the development of long-term financial plans and strategiesPrepare and deliver financial presentations to stakeholdersAnalyze and forecast capital expenditure budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goalsPrepare detailed financial models to assess project feasibility and ROI (Return on Investment).Monitor actual vs. budgeted spending and identify variances, providing actionable recommendations.Continuously improve financial planning processes and methodologiesStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis

Qualifications

Required : 

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related fieldAdvanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques

Preferred :

Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and data analysisExperience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and financial reporting toolsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailSolid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulationsKnowledge of financial markets and economic trendsAbility to communicate complex financial information clearly and conciselyStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills :

Proficiency in PowerPoint, Power BI for creating impactful financial presentationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English
