Financial and Accounting Systems Manager

Responsible for the creation, integrity and ongoing maintenance of financial reporting and dashboarding utilizing financial and project cost accounting system data. Interacts and collaborates with functional teams and end users to understand report objectives and develop detailed design specifications. Will also serve as backup for financial and accounting systems.Designs and delivers reusable and ad-hoc reports using Costpoint Business Intelligence (Cognos).Ensures streamlined reporting procedures as well as the accuracy and security of data.Provides technical expertise and insight on Costpoint Business Intelligence (Cognos).Creates and supports financial dashboards.Prepares and maintains new report documentation, including requirements, specifications, business use case and level of efforts.Identifies reporting needs based on system configuration and workflows and documents reporting requirements and testing of new reports in development prior to implementation. Participates in initiatives or projects that support process improvements, leveraging new system capabilities or the integration of data/other applications into existing systems.Builds and maintains a cooperative relationship with end-users.

Assists with managing the deployment of business requirements through reliable business system configuration updates to enterprise.

Assists with gathering requirements and collaborates on design and definition of acceptance criteria.

Engages peers in best practice sharing and identifying process improvements.

Assists with requirements definition, design, unit testing, and integration.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Job Requirements

Responsibilities

7+ years of business intelligence experience with advanced Excel, Access or related analytical tools performing data mapping, extraction, transformation and loading between a variety of enterprise platforms (e.g., Workday).

Must possess a strong Costpoint systems and Costpoint Business Intelligence background.

Strong cross functional collaboration skills and the proven ability to work effectively with numerous stakeholders and contributors, both internally and externally.

Strong technical writing skills to clearly communicate process flow.

Ability to work with graphical tools to illustrate workflow.

$142,610

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
