Financial Apprentice

Financial Apprentice to gain practical work experience within the business, to gain an understanding of the fundamental function of the finance department and achieve AAT qualification in accounting.

 

Successfully completing the Advanced Diploma in Accounting will enable the student to progress to the next level of learning.  As well as ensuring full competency as an Assistant Accountant, this standard will open further opportunities within the accounting sector

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts to include variance analysis and commentary Assist with routine month end processes Preparation of VAT reporting Gain knowledge of the Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting process Inventory Control – to include reporting and reconciliations Production Standard Costings Balance Sheet Reconcilations Assist with control regulations for SOX and both internal and external audit Gain knowledge of Accounts Payable & Receivable processes Regular project work and ad hoc tasks
