Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Financial Assistance Advisor for UBHC Outpatient Services. Under the direction of the Office Manager and/or the Supervising Program Assistant, is responsible for the registration process for the UBHC Outpatient Programs.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Interviews and registers patients into the revenue cycle system Forwards patients’ registration packages to Clinical Records to achieve a complete Medical Records folder Determines customer’s eligibility for the Charity Care program as set forth by NJ Department of Health N.J.A.C. 8:31B-4.37 and UBHC policy Enters completed insurance data into revenue cycle system Completes requirement tracking when a client is initially registered and/or routinely updated Responsible for daily registration reports and for chart notices Maintains close interaction with internal and external customers Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement FLSA Nonexempt Grade 192 Position Salary Annual Minimum Salary 47301.80 Annual Mid Range Salary 48211.80 Annual Maximum Salary 49649.60 Standard Hours 35.00 Union Description Teamsters 97 Payroll Designation PeopleSoft Benefits Rutgers offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees.
