Financial Assistance Caseworker

Position Details:

Location: Winter Haven HospitalStatus: Full timeShift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Days: Monday through Friday

 

This Financial Assistance Caseworker opportunity is a full-time position. This position requires on-site work in Winter Haven. 

Responsibilities:

The Financial Assistance Caseworker is responsible for identifying patients who may be eligible for financial and social assistance from various public agencies by assessing their financial and social situation, acting as a liaison between the patient, the family and public agencies, and documenting the assessment and approvals.

Education

Required High School or equivalent

Experience

Required 5 years Social Work or Public Assistance with High School DiplomaOR 1 year Social Work or Public Assistance with a Bachelor's DegreePreferred knowledge of community resources for unfunded/ underfunded patients (Medicaid, Charity Programs, ect.)
