POSITION SUMMARY
Financial Opportunity Centers (FOCs) are community-based centers that focus on the financial
bottom line for low-to-moderate income individuals. This means changing people's financial
behavior in a way that encourages them to make a long-term commitment to increasing income,
decreasing expenses and acquiring assets.
ProMedica Health Systems’ FOC is a first of its kind operation. Collaborations with the Local
Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), United Way and the Toledo Community Foundation support
ProMedica’ commitment to providing integrated care and addressing social determinants of
health (SDOH) by offering financial coaching, job training and community health supports.
The ProMedica FOC Financial Coach uses strong interpersonal, communication and customer
service skills to facilitate financial coaching while simultaneously assisting with the integration of
services into other ProMedica organizational and community initiatives.
The ideal candidate must possess the ability to function in a fast-paced, team-oriented
