JOB PURPOSE
The Financial Compliance Associate is responsible for supporting the financial compliance and control team by assisting in the review, preparation, and reporting of financial data to ensure alignment with local fiscal regulations and internal policies. He/she supports financial reporting, compliance checks, and data validation to aid accurate and consistent financial reporting across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in following established practices, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local fiscal regulations and Ministry of Finance requirements. Support in the review of financial statements, including the consolidated balance sheet, income statement, and cash flows, to confirm accurate data entry and help in processing basic elimination entries as directed. Participate in the compilation and preparation of monthly financial compliance reports, assisting in basic data analysis to highlight potential discrepancies or issues. Help prepare quarterly balance sheet analysis reports by gathering necessary information and supporting initial data checks. Provide support to the reporting team during the annual statutory audit, assisting with the review of standalone and consolidated financial statements as needed. Assist in generating ad hoc reports as requested by management. Support basic accounting software checks and validations to aid the local and ABS accounting teams in maintaining consistent and accurate reporting. Specific for Regional\: Assist in the administration of the JDE financial module, helping with standardized setup across environments and supporting the setup of tax and other financial modules in the ERP as directed. Specific for Regional\: Conduct reviews of accounting transactions to verify alignment with established policies, reporting findings to senior team members for further analysis. *ABOUT THE COMPANY
