Interim Controller **Experience working interim/ consultant roles Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will lead month-end close processes, oversee annual tax compliance, and act as a liaison for external audits. This role will require a deep understanding of US GAAP, financial analysis, and reporting, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities + Lead month-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of consolidated financial statements for the CFO’s review. + Oversee annual tax compliance and tax provision preparation. + Act as a liaison for external audits, complete audited financial statements, and provide support for calendar year-end. + Prepare and present periodic MIS reports for internal departments (Operations, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, etc.). + Assist and support in periodic TTB – DSP reporting and tax filings. + Lead accounting projects requiring judgment and knowledge of US GAAP. + Lead P&L modeling to determine project-based gross margin profitability. + Support requests from the local entity and various stakeholders throughout the organization. + Assist FP&A in annual budget and periodic forecasting processes. + Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data, enhancing the company’s value. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + At least 10 years of progressive experience in a full-cycle accounting function. + Active CPA License preferred. Qualifications + Strong financial analysis and reporting skills. + Excellent reconciliation and variance analysis abilities. + Experience in a controller role managing financial operations for multiple entities. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
