In April 2023, TRATON embarked on an ambitious journey to integrate independent brand Research & Development (R&D) Organizations in Scania, MAN, International, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus into a single global TRATON R&D organization. By integrating the capabilities and resources of our brands, we will accelerate the introduction of new technologies and solutions to deliver the most competitive products and solutions to our customers. We currently have a great opportunity for a Financial Consultant on our TRATON USA’s R&D Team. In this key role, you will work closely with various business units to gain a deep understanding of operations and deliver actionable financial insights that drive profitable growth. We’re looking for a results-driven finance professional with strong analytical abilities, advanced financial modeling skills, and excellent communication capabilities. Responsibilities + Contribute to R&D program and capex evaluations by maintaining assumptions, compiling data, and preparing decision materials + Collaborate in planning cycles (forecast, budget, long‑range plan) with data collection, model updates, variance analysis, and management reporting + Maintain headcount and resource analytics and reporting, support dashboards and performance metrics + Build concise decks for cross‑functional committees and leadership reviews aligned with Traton Group standards and + Brand International needs + Strengthen process harmonization by standardizing templates, KPIs, and data definitions across Brand/Group; contribute to continuous improvement of tools and routines Minimum Requirements + Bachelor’s degree + At least 2 years of finance experience OR + Master's degree + At least 1 year of finance experience OR + At least 5 years of finance experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
