Financial Controller, Operations
Job Description About the position

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Financial Controller, Operations to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Financial Controller, Operations lies within the European region. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into Fardus Ahmed, Controller EPDM. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. The delivery of the financial control over Supply Chain HUB (SCHUB) in the Netherlands will be your primary responsibility. You’re constantly looking for improvement activities within the SCHUB.

In brief, you are responsible for:

Overseeing all financial matters relating to Operations, including technical accounting, reporting, and governance, in collaboration with commercial and operational finance leaders. Act as a key finance partner to SCHUB, supporting initiatives related to technical finance, restructuring, reporting, process improvements, fixed assets and global procurement. Serve as the technical finance expert (including areas such as treasury, tax, and compliance) and provide strategic financial guidance for operational matters across Europe. Manage relationships with internal and external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process across SCHUB entities. Bridge corporate and selling company entities by providing expertise on operations accounting policies and technical SCHUB finance issues. Communicate financial updates, regulatory changes, and policy updates to the finance team, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs. Oversee financial operations across approx. 20 legal entities, leading a team of four direct reports and managing a GBS team of 15+.

Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

Qualified chartered accountant with at least 10-12 years previous financial control and management reporting experience, preferable working within a Supply Chain model, including tax and treasury principles including understanding of Procurement / Contract accounting & optimal processes / governance. Experience working in an outsourced / financial services arrangement and strong experience in delivering Statutory Accounts in a complex environment. A proven track record in financial governance, reporting, and technical finance, with the ability to navigate complex financial structures across multiple entities. Ability to discuss financial topics, with non-financial people whilst striving for a common goal, reach a decision/conclusion and get buy in from all parties. English mandatory (Dutch understanding desirable) Experience with SAP/S4 Hana/HFM a plus
