Responsibilities of the Financial Controller

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes by collaborating closely with department heads to ensure alignment with organisational goals. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal controls, and company policies through diligent monitoring and reporting. Coordinate external audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.

What the successful candidate will bring

Fully qualified accountant Experience in a similar Financial Controller or senior finance role within a medium or large organisation. Proven ability to prepare complex financial statements and manage end-to-end budgeting processes with accuracy. Excellent interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration with colleagues at all levels across different departments.
