About the Role
The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, planning and budgeting, tax compliance, and finance systems administration. This role ensures accurate and timely reporting in accordance with IFRS and group standards and supports strategic decision-making through effective financial analysis and control.1. Financial Operations (50%)
(i) Financial Reporting (25%):
Lead and manage all financial reporting processes, including IFRS compliance, Group Reporting, and regulatory submissions. Ensure reports are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
(ii) Accounting (10%):
Manage both local accounting teams and overseas outsourcing partners to ensure accurate financial data in compliance with group policies.
(iii) Tax Compliance and Strategy (10%):
Oversee tax compliance and reporting. Provide strategic tax advice to senior management and ensure alignment with regulatory bodies and evolving tax regulations.
(iv) Audit Management (5%):
Coordinate external and regulatory audits. Ensure smooth execution and timely resolution of audit findings.
2. Financial Management (30%)
(i) Management Reporting & Analysis (20%):
Deliver insightful performance analysis and communicate effectively with senior management to support data-driven decision-making and financial goal achievement
(ii) Budgeting & Planning (10%)
Drive the annual budgeting and planning cycle. Advise senior leadership on financial targets and performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
3. Finance Project (10%):
Lead finance-related projects, ensuring timely and effective implementation that supports business transformation and operational efficiency.
4. Internal Control (10%):
Oversee the design and implementation of internal controls. Ensure both design and operational effectiveness to mitigate financial risks.
