Financial Controller
Emerson is seeking a **Financial Controller** to join our team in Saint Priest. This role’s responsibility is to analyze and supervise the financial performance of designated divisions, and present timely, accurate and relevant financial information to management to enable strategic decision-making and optimise financial results. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Performing the Month End closing to a strict 3-day timetable for Financials. Reporting scope includes P&L, Balance sheet, Headcounts and other statistical requirements. + Reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts. Maintenance of variable accruals and payments such as penalties, guarantees, commissions, bonuses. + Determine annual hourly rates based on budgeted expenses and the available engineering hours, and analyze variations compared to the previous year to ensure consistency. Co-facilitate project follow-up meetings with the project managers' manager. + Planning, organizing and conducting the preparation of the annual Budget, Mid-Year Review, Q1 Review and rolling monthly reviews (POR). + Monitoring actual performance versus budgets/forecasts and analyzing/commenting on variances. + Producing comprehensive monthly reporting in a timely manner to the Business Units, World Area and France Sales and Operation Management. + Build collaborative relationships with Sales and Operations departments. + Supervise the project analyst based in Pune on the various tasks delegated to them. + Ensuring compliance with French accounting standards, US GAAP, and the group’s procedures (CP&P). Answering requests from internal or external auditors or forward it to the relevant audited departments and assist in gathering the required information, ensuring they meet deadlines for their conclusions. + Conduct ad-hoc or periodic financial analyses as requested by operations, management, or the group. **Who You Are:** You are a results-oriented individual with a keen ability to set priorities and plan effectively.
