Job Opportunity: Financial Controller – BV Solutions

Bureau Veritas is seeking a proactive and hands-on Financial Controller to drive financial performance within our BV Solutions division, as we transition to a verticalized organizational structure.

 

As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations across 9 legal entities and business units worldwide. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insights and ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

 

Lead financial operations and reporting for a key service line within the Bureau Veritas M&O Division Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with local finance teams globally Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, offering strategic recommendations to leadership Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas policies and relevant accounting standards Collaborate with global finance teams to align zone-level activities with the organization’s financial strategy Provide financial guidance to operational managers, helping drive informed decision-making Identify and lead initiatives to improve financial performance and operational efficiency Support special projects to help fuel business growth and development

 

What You Bring to the Role:

 

CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification 5-7 years of experience in a senior financial role, ideally in a multinational service-oriented company Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively Fluency in English, with French as a plus Willingness to travel within your assigned zone as needed
