WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING As a Financial Controller, you are responsible for the financial administration and reporting of Mammoet's Holding and Global Support entities. With your financial background and experience, you will collaborate closely with all departments. You provide analysis of financial and accounting information, and you will ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. In order to improve accounting and reporting systems, you establish control procedures. Being someone with a broad and in-depth knowledge, you always are on the outlook for improvement of financial standards and procedures within our department and/or organisation. Financial reporting Leading position in month-end closing activities and reporting; Primary point of contact for Shared Services Center, GL Accounting and AR/AP; Discuss results in collaboration with Finance Manager and department heads; Advise the organization with regard to the financial administration; Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations; Securing the internal and external procedures by delivering all required Business Support Framework (BSF) documentation. Financial planning & budgeting Being in charge of the planning and forecasting cycle for your entities; Monitor the financial performance of cost centers against budget and discuss differences with budget owners; Lead the global recharging process; Ad-hoc analyses and involvement in improvement projects as requested. WHAT YOU’LL NEED You have at least a master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline; You have at least three years of relevant experience in Accounting and/or Financial Control; You possess interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills; You are able to work under pressure and tight deadlines; You are proficient in English, both written and spoken.
