Job Description

Financial Controlling Intern as a part of the Financial Controlling Team supports the team and other functions in assisting with budgeting, closing, and forecast preparations. Ensure the proper execution of the processes according to O-I policies and procedures, and support various business case calculations.

SCOPE AND IMPACT

Financial Controlling Intern supports the Financial Controlling Team with budgeting, closing, and forecasting, handling confidential financial data. This role involves regular interaction with the Procurement  Team and Procurement Controlling Team. The impact is more supportive, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with O-I policies and procedures.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Support the month-end closing and forecasting process to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingAssist in the preparation of reports/analysis to allow for timely and insightful analysis of financial resultsAssist with data gathering, consolidation, and reporting for various forecast areas in conjunction with Procurement  Controlling TeamsWork with the Procurement Controlling and Procurement  members to develop and maintain best practices for managing informationEnsure that information is timely, accurate, relevant, and reliableActive participation in Procurement Controlling projects

QualificationsStudent status of 3rd, 4th or 5th  year of Finance or AccountingInterested in controlling/accountingProficient in English min. B2Other language is a plusMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)IT Skills (SQL, Python and Power BI)Attentive to detailsResults orientatedOrganize, prioritize, and execute multi-task dutiesAbility to work individually and in a teamAnalytical and problem-solving skills
