Job Title: Financial Coordinator II

Location: DaVita Team Mercury Operations Team

This role will be primarily remote with the expectation to come to Brentwood twice per quarter.

Job Summary:

The Financial Coordinator supports the Finance Director and Supervisor by managing financial data, processing invoices, managing vendor contracts (MSAs and Sows) by working with company legal team, and producing multiple financial reports. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, multitasking skills, and the ability to manage a wide range of financial and contracting responsibilities. The Financial Coordinator works closely with vendors, internal teams, and field personnel to ensure accurate financial management and timely project execution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

     1. Financial Management & Analysis (35%)

Process, code, and secure approvals for all invoices and payment requests. Cross-verify invoices against quotes and contracts for accuracy. Collaborate with the Accounts Payable (AP) team to maintain current vendor accounts.Budget Tracking and Variance AnalysisForecasting and Financial ReportingExpense management and reconciliationTrack and process refunds, checks, and ACH deposits in financial databases (e.g., Oracle, Anaplan).Respond promptly to financial inquiries from field teams.

     2. Accounting and Compliance (20%)

Accounts payable/receivable managementCoordinate onboarding of new vendors and vetting their MSAs and SOWs through partnering with legal team to ensure proper approval channels are followed and approvals are secured.Verify vendor contracts meet requirements of team and pricing is accurate based on agreement with team management.Ensure critical deadlines are met in order to meet Village needs and expectations.Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, reallocations, and accruals.

     3. Data Management and Reporting (20%)

 Compile and maintain operational dashboards and performance reports, including financial data on invoices, production, campaigns, initiatives and high level projects.Assist with monthly finance reviews with finance team.Work closely with vendors and team members to track and capture costs accurately.

     4. Project and Process Management (10%)

Process improvement and streamline workflows Manage the FedEx billing account, verify and process invoices, and allocate charges to appropriate departments.Maintain good standing with vendors by ensuring accurate and timely payments.

     5. Budget Maintenance & Reporting (10%)

Maintain multiple budgets, including special projects, events, and recurring initiatives simultaneously.Compare current and previous year data, producing reports for management decision-making.Provide cost summaries and spending updates to field teams.

     6. Data Management & Reporting (5%)

Create advanced Excel reports using VLOOKUPs and other data functions to support management reporting.Ability to recommend opportunities for cost saving measures

Qualifications:

  Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  Experience:

2+ years of experience in financial coordination, accounts payable, or logistics management. Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

  Skills & Competencies:

 Strong knowledge of financial systems (Oracle, Anaplan, or similar platforms).Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis). Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong organizational skills for document management.

Remote or Hybrid work environmentOccasional overtime during month-end or year-end close processes.

Salary/ Wage Range

$55,000.00 - $100,000.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
