Financial Counselor - Admitting (FT, Days)
The Financial Counselor/Registrar is responsible for the person to person interaction via face-to-face discussions with patients to facilitate the collection of all co-pays and outstanding debt on accounts. The Financial Counselor must meet established productivity and quality guidelines to ensure timely and accurate collection. When assigned to the Emergency Department, the Financial Counselor will facilitate formal ER discharge process by reviewing patient’s history and current registration for accuracy and estimated responsibility prior to patient discharge. Prepares and monitors all payment plans; provides discounts where appropriate.
