Job Description
Collaborate with the Data Management team to understand data mapping, conversion strategies, and business rules specific to Finance. Execute data transformation scripts using appropriate tools and languages (e.g. Excel, Access, SQL, Python), ensuring adherence to GAAP principles. Utilize advanced Excel skills to create reconciliations and perform validations between legacy system data and the new ERP for mock data conversions and cutover. Cleanse, standardize, and validate data to ensure quality and consistency, maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance. Identify and resolve data discrepancies and anomalies, liaising with stakeholders to find solutions. Translate business requirements into actionable data-related tasks and solutions, and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities related to data migration and transformations. Document data transformation, mapping, and conversion processes and procedures. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Data Management team to understand data mapping, conversion strategies, and business rules specific to Finance.Execute data transformation scripts using appropriate tools and languages (e.g. Excel, Access, SQL, Python), ensuring adherence to GAAP principles.Utilize advanced Excel skills to create reconciliations and perform validations between legacy system data and the new ERP for mock data conversions and cutover.Cleanse, standardize, and validate data to ensure quality and consistency, maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance.Identify and resolve data discrepancies and anomalies, liaising with stakeholders to find solutions.Translate business requirements into actionable data-related tasks and solutions.Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities related to data migration and transformations.Document data transformation, mapping, and conversion processes and procedures.Assist in data cleansing activities, and create efficiencies in cleansing data.Essential SkillsStrong experience with a Finance SaaS ERP implementation.Understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Non-Patient Revenue and Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Projects, Grants, Consolidation, Budgeting and Forecasting, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting.In-depth knowledge of data conversion, cleansing, and transformation processes.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.Experience in data mapping, analysis, transformation, or data quality.Foundational understanding of Finance functions and reporting.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced skills in formulas, functions, and macros.Experience with data manipulation tools such as Access or SQL.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master's degree in a related field is a plus.Healthcare experience is a plus.Workday experience is a plus.Premier and PeopleSoft data extraction experience is a plus.Work Environment
This position can be remote but will require occasional travel to Jacksonville for onsite meetings and the go-live phase.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
