A career in our Financial Due Diligence (FDD) team, which sits within our Deals Transaction Services practice can provide you the opportunity to help organizations realize the potential of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Through data driven insights, our FDD team helps clients ensure maximum value for their company and assist organizations with both buy side and sell side due diligence. As part of the team, you can help us provide both corporate and financial buyers with peace of mind by analyzing and assessing all the financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions being made.

Role Responsibilities

As a Financial Due Diligence Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Solving clients' problems by reviewing financial data and structuring analysis, applying analytical frameworks, and flagging any issues

Participate in financial due diligence assignments in the context of buy- and sell-side M&A transactions, servicing both corporate and private equity clients

Analyze and present financial information (i.e. Income statement, Balance sheet and Cash flow statements), as well as underlying key performance drivers

Add value to the targeted transaction by transforming key findings into price adjustments and proposed warranties

Assess key valuation metrics used to bridge Enterprise and Equity value by analyzing underlying EBITDA, working capital requirements and net (financial) debt

Provide insight on other (non-) financial risks and opportunities specific to the business and relevant to consider in a transaction context

Taking ownership of components of engagements and collaborating with team members to deliver thorough and well-structured reports

Adding or forming financial, commercial, and business views to help the target, client and investors in their decision making

Supporting other PwC offices across the Middle East on regional transactions

Researching, aggregating and analyzing data; synthesizing large quantities of information; extracting meaningful insights to provide recommendations to our clients

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Transaction Services, particularly financial due diligence. 

Understanding of transaction services related domain or a multinational organization

Keen to analyze a complex problem and solve using data-driven insights, accounting and finance knowledge

Motivated to build excellent working relationships and meet deadlines successfully in a fast paced & dynamic environment

Confident communicator and can deliver messages both written and verbal with impact to a wide variety of audiences

Strong analytical skills and an ability to understand key business drivers

Ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines

Excellent attention to detail

Your flexibility to travel 20% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
