Financial Management Analyst

Act as a finance partner to the Supply Chain organization by supporting both U.S. and International Supply Chain teams across all brands in the Inspire portfolio.  The Analyst will complete monthly close activities, provide analytical support, and offer recommendations concerning financial matters. This role will provide technical support to maintain financial models as well as identify and implement broader process improvements related to the Supply Chain group.

This role will be onsite in our Atlanta Support Center Monday through Thursday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the monthly close process, including reconciling the financial results vs. projection and budget, making appropriate journal entries, and reforecasting through the end of the yearCreate monthly summaries of financial results to be shared with Supply Chain Leadership, detailing the main variance drivers, including commodity fluctuations and obsolescence driversParticipate in annual budgeting process and long-range planning for various business segmentsProvide analytical support that helps maintain and improve Inspire and licensee/franchisee profitability. This includes analysis of product margins, production expense analysis, as well as performing risk assessments for the businessesPerform data driven modeling and analysis on product pricing, product mix data, manufacturing variances etc., for purposes of turning it into actionable informationContinuously find opportunities to improve processes, capabilities and tools needed to support Supply Chain and relevant stakeholders.  Proactively work with business partners to develop, implement, and automate reporting that will assist in critical decision-making needs    Support existing and new supply chain initiatives with meaningful financial analysis and function as an overall business partner to our Global Supply Chain colleaguesManage relationships with suppliers as it relates to pricing accuracy, obsolescence exposure, and other financial impacts

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

4 Year Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.1 - 2 years of experience in financeExperience with supply chain and/or scaled purchasing analysis preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

Excellent analytical and communication skillsProficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordStrong business partnership, solution-generating and collaboration abilitiesStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyAbility to handle competing priorities, often with considerable time constraintsDemonstrate willingness to do whatever it takes to meet ever changing departmental and customer needs. Thrive in a cross-functional capacity.Positive attitude and flexible team player committed to getting the job doneStrongly preferred:  Experience with Smartview and other Oracle applicationsStrongly preferred:  Experience supporting widespread field environment
