Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will provide supporting accounting data in order prepare budgetary and program documents. You will research, compile, and summarize required data for budget forecasts and for budget execution and individual documents in a distressed state. You will prepare a variety of reports covering the status of funds and execution status, advising management officials on the availability of funds. You will review and validate commitments, obligations, expenditures, and reimbursable orders ensuring execution remains compliant with known requirements. You will assist in the overall formulating and justifying of the organizational budget for a variety of appropriated fund types. You will assist in resolving financial execution issues ensuring obligations match the liquidations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Formulating budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; reviewing and evaluating budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures; ability to use software (Microsoft programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word); knowledge of Financial Management Evaluation and Assessment (FMEA) and Managers Internal Control Program (MCIP) AND Research, compile, analyze, and summarize required data for budget forecasts. Education In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related Are you using your education to qualify?
