Summary This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resiliency and well-being of Soldiers and Families. Responsibilities Provides technical financial, budget and/or accounting support by accumulating, processing, compilation and consolidation of financial data in support of IMWRF analysts. Assists with the conduct of review and analysis of operating programs, ensuring conformance with policy and resource utilization. Identifies problems with document flow, e.g. daily activity reports, petty cash, transfer between accounts, etc. Provides assistance with formal reports for submission to Division Chiefs, recommending changes to procedures and practices covering all functional areas, identifying requirements for additional training and/or changes in resource utilization. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess the following: work experience performing the following duties: cashier functions (e.g. receiving payment and providing change for service fees; credit card processing); AND updating customer files with new information; AND maintaining office filing systems. ability to organize and communicate professionally through written correspondence and oral communication, AND a working knowledge of principles, practices and methods of budget formulation, AND knowledge of operation and functions of computers to provide problem solving resolution and service to users, AND ability to work independently without supervision. Pay-Band (NF) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Night differential has been authorized by the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Bargaining NF & CY positions and will be paid at the rate of basic pay plus an additional 10 percent of that rate for all regular scheduled work between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. (including periods of leave and holidays). Sunday premium pay has been authorized by the Collective Bargaining Agreement for regular NF & CY bargaining employees and will be paid at the rate of 25% of the employee's basic rate of pay for all hours of a non-overtime tour of duty when any part of the scheduled tour is performed on Sunday (including periods of leave and holidays). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will NOT be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will NOT be paid. Pay-band employees in pay levels NF-3 and above, are entitled to receive nonforeign area allowances and differentials in the same amounts and under the same eligibility criteria prescribed for Appropriated Fund employees in the same locality.
