JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

We are looking for a Financial Market Data Analyst (m/f/d) who is able to take over service ownership and support the continuous improvement of our operational processes. We are responsible for delivering reliable services in a dynamic environment to support the reporting and decision-making process of one of the world’s leading financial institutions. In this role you will gain deep insights into the underlying data model, from a technical as well as a business perspective.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure smooth financial market data processing for vendor data, including monitoring and enhancement of automated data feeds Quality assurance of financial market data in our central market data system Preparation for Customer Service Review Meetings Handling of complex client inquiries, e.g. analyzing data flows and validating results Proactively identify process improvements and work with experts from other departments to ensure their implementation, e.g. creation of new quality checks or identification of AI use cases Timely resolution of process or quality issues that are disrupting the service delivery Support the definition of KPIs for the service delivery to our clients Support the steering of our service provider and ensuring information exchange between 1st level and 2nd level Operations Participate in projects to implement new client requirements, e.g. onboarding of new data feeds

 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

University degree in economics, business administration, finance and/ or equivalent experience in finance, ideally combined with a profound IT-background Good knowledge of capital market data (e.g. via experience with market data providers) High IT and data affinity as well as experience in data analysis, preferably with relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL) Independent way of working, process-oriented thinking and a strong service attitude Experience in working with or management of service providers is an advantage Team player mentality, creativity and problem-solving mentality Strong service attitude, autonomy and an above average willingness to perform Fluent in English, German is an advantage Fluent in English and German, additional languages (e.g. French) are a plus
