Our Impact:Freddie Mac’s I&CM division is currently seeking a Full Stack Senior Developer who is proficient in Java/JavaScript and other modern web technologies to assist us with the development of financial applications and services based on Microservices architecture and modern JS frameworks.
Your Impact:This teammate will be involved in designing, developing, testing and supporting within our financial modeling and research division. They will need to coordinate with the team working on different layers of the infrastructure and have a dedication to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality product. They will assist with new feature upgrades, defect fixes, technical debts, improvements, and migration efforts for both our customer facing and internal applications/services by applying niche knowledge and embracing the adoption of new technologies. They will be responsible for writing clean, robust, high-quality code for server operations, front-end and back-end development, testing, verification and maintenance.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
At least 5 - 7 years of hands-on software development and programming experience with knowledge of application, data and architecture design patterns and principles.
Must have a strong background in developing on Java frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.
Familiarity with REST API design, development and documentation.
Experience with building and integrating tools, including knowledge of Gradle, Jenkins, Git, Docker or similar tools.
Strong competence to learn the business functions and features that need to be delivered.
Preferred Skills
Proficiency with fundamental web front-end languages and frameworks.
Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server, Sybase, Redis, MongoDB and so on.
Experience writing automated unit, integration, regression, performance and acceptance tests.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $182,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
