Financial Operations Analyst
Job Title: Financial Operations Analyst Job Description The Financial Operations Analyst will be responsible for posting journal entries to support the month-end closing process. The role involves supporting the Engineering and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) departments with accurate budgeting and forecasting. You will conduct financial reviews of hours, expenses, and cost center budgets to support monthly forecasting processes, modify existing Power BI models, and approve and create engineering projects in SAP based on Engineering Cost Estimates (ECEs). Additionally, you will coordinate and review business financial risks and opportunities, collaborating with the Engineering and MRO teams to develop risk mitigation plans, forecasts, and longer-term strategic plans. The role requires developing quantitative analysis, ad-hoc reports, and models to support decision-making, ensuring an effective internal financial controls environment compliant with US GAAP, SOX, and all required legal or statutory requirements. You will also support internal and external auditors as needed and facilitate the Landing Gear Operations Finance teams by supporting the monthly closing process, annual operating plans, and quarterly and ad-hoc forecasts.
