Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Financial Operations Analyst II to join their Finance Department. This is a work from home position that requires residency in KY or IN.

Essential Functions:

Serves as point of contact for maintaining and updating Strata User Security Access.Assists Director in providing financial accountability for SSC and Markets, budget and financial planning/forecasting. Provides operational financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting, statistical and budgetary data; preparing reports.Provide support and assistance on assigned projects, including assisting with providing material support for assigned projects.Assist with ensuring integration of financial planning tools among management teams for strategic, financial, operations, quality management and other management decision making processes and applications by facilitating the information exchange.Assist operating unit leaders with financial budgeting/forecasting strategy and analyzes trends and identify opportunities to align strategic direction with system financial goals.Collaborate with operations leadership, to ensure completion and maintenance of annual operating budgets/ rolling forecasts meeting established deadlines and system parameters.  Assists with preparation and review reports on financial performance.  Investigate, analyze and present recommendations with respect to asset, liability, cost and revenue initiatives.Participate in monthly operating reviews with operating unit leadership in accordance with system and/or site guidelines and offers training/education to address financial issues.
 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.Master's degree in Finance or related field, CPA or CMA preferred.2+ years experience in accounting, finance or analytics.Healthcare and system experience preferred.
