What you'll be doing
As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for supporting and working closely with Financial Planning Strategists, Relationship Managers and Business Development Officers to analyze, communicate and implement financial planning strategies for HNW/UHNW clients, as well as provide client support to the Wealth Strategies team.
How you'll succeed
Perform financial planning analyses, including reviewing financial statements and other data, gathering additional data as necessary, entering data, evaluating alternative scenarios to respond to the client request, as well as alternatives to prompt additional planning considerations.
Adapt computer-generated output to polished brand format, and review plan with RM to confirm it meets expectations.
Efficiently triage, prioritize, and manage multiple requests with minimal guidance and supervision.
Assist individual wealth strategists with excel and power point illustrations for clients.
Assist in developing additional financial planning models and offerings.
Promote the CAFÉ across the firm.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $100,000 - $110,000 for the Washington, DC market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
