General Description

Analyze the financial situation of a client, through a holistic approach, to identify risks and opportunities and develop the financial strategies needed to help clients to achieve their needs and goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Meeting with clients and use the financial planning methodology to advise and assist them on how to achieve their financial objectives, considering their life cycle stage, actual financial situation, and needs. Increase customer relationships, services, products, and profitability. Offer advice in an integrated manner, through the collaboration of work teams composed of employees from different specialties or lines of business of the Bank and other Popular companies. Develop and maintain relationships of trust and loyalty. Education

Bachelor in Business Administration with concentration in: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Financial Planning. Risk Management or Law.

Experience

Minimum of two (2) years of experience with financial products and services, insurance business, business development, taxes, laws, regulations and state and/or federal regulations that govern the financial industry. 

Certifications/Licenses

Preferably CFP, MBA, CPA, or JD certifications.

Other Qualifications Client relationship and service skills Sales skills Teamwork skills, interpersonal relationships, and negotiation. Analytical reasoning Excellent oral presentation skills and effective meeting management. Technical knowledge of investments, trusts, testaments, insurance, contributions on income and flow, budgets, business succession, individual credit, and retirement plans. Knowledge of banking products and services. High level of organization to establish priorities, work with multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines and be flexible to change. Task coordination and problem solving. Ability to work under pressure with a minimum of supervision. Writing skills and presentation creation. Availability to attend, during and outside regular working hours, activities, presentations, and other initiatives of interest to customers. Identify problems, analyze their causes, and solve them in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. Knowledge and mastery of MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Mastery of English.
